-Avoid wearing deodorant on the day of your treatment. It can act as a barrier & affect your underarm results.
- Avoid wearing moisturiser in the treatment area on the day of your appointment. This can act as a barrier.
- You should shave the treatment area the day before your appointment.
- Do not expose skin to UV (sun exposure, tanning beds) 30 days prior to treatment.
- Fake tan should be removed 1 week prior to your appointment.
- Do not depilate, wax, pluck or thread the treatment area. Shaving is the only acceptable method.
- Do not use bleaching creams or perfumed products (e.g. aromatherapy oils) for 24hrs-48hrs prior to treatment.
- Avoid swimming in strong chlorinated water immediately before treatment.
- Avoid exfoliating, microdermabrasion or skin peels for 1 week prior to treatment.
- Avoid wearing tight clothing when attending treatment sessions if treating the body.
- Treatment area should be freshly washed & dried immediately before appointment with no products left on the skin.
- Keep the body hydrated, drink lots of water.
- Protect the skin from sun exposure and SPF 30+ should be worn at all times during the treatment programme.
- Hot and humid weather can make the skin more sensitive prior to treatment.
